I am very grateful to H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III and Guan Shi Yin Bodhisattva!

I am Bryant Chen, a 10th grader from Maryland. On July 27, 2019, I was lucky to have an opportunity to attend the Guan Yin Bodhisattva of Great Compassion Empowerment Dharma Assembly. I would like to share my great experience from attending the assembly.

 

In the beginning of the assembly, I felt a little uncomfortable because of all the noises from other attendees around me. Then I remembered the words from Great Dharma Master Ruo Hui that we should not be influenced by our surroundings.  So, I tried not to listen to others. After a few minutes, all of a sudden, my mind became peaceful, and I was in a moment of silence. Then ahead of me, I saw a white road, and something in me was telling me that I should go on it.

 

To my surprise, just as when I came to the road, I saw my Buddha Master, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. Standing in front of me, He was wearing a yellow robe and had a smile on His face. H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III’s friendly and amicable appearance gave me a feeling of happiness, peacefulness, warmth, and being welcomed. I had the feeling that Buddha Master was there waiting for me. Moments later, we had a very solemn chat.

 

Buddha Master said to me, “If you have any questions for me right now, let me know, and I will give you the right answers.” But it seemed H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III already knew what I was going to ask because before I asked, Buddha Master said to me, “I know about all the troubles that your family has gone through, and I will always be there to help and protect you and your family.”  Buddha Master even knew about my Mom’s recent surgery.

 

At last, I asked Buddha Master, “Is my family going to live a happy life with no struggles, and is everyone going to be alright?”  Buddha Master answered, “Everything is going to be alright, and I will always be there for your family and help all of you all the way through.” I was really grateful to Buddha Master and throughout our conversation, I felt like I was talking to my cheerful best friend.

 

Soon, the dharma assembly’s time was up. I felt tears were dropping from my face when I opened my eyes. I never knew that 45 minutes went by so fast.

 

I am very grateful to H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III and Guan Shi Yin Bodhisattva! From now on I will have peace of mind knowing that Buddha Master will be there for me and my family, and I will keep on respectfully listening to Buddha Master’s dharma discourses and practicing Buddha Master’s teachings.
