H.H. No other Rinpoche on earth has ever received even one third of the number of recognitions, corroborations, and congratulations from great dharma kings, regent dharma kings, etc. that H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III has received. H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III has singlehandedly manifested accomplishments in thirty large categories involving all of the Five Vidyas, thereby establishing the highest record of accomplishment in the history of Buddhism in this world.
Certain evil people have slandered H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III as having conferred upon Himself the status of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, and they have thereby guided Buddhist practitioners toward evil. In order to protect the wisdom roots of living beings, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III makes the following vow of truth: “If those recognitions, corroborations, and congratulations that follow did not come from the dharma kings, regent dharma kings, and rinpoches whose photographs appear on this page of from their temples and/ or are not copies of the original texts but rather are my fabrications with forged signatures – if even one such case exists – then i should descend into hell without the possibility of ever leaving hell. If those recognitions, corroborations, and congratulations were written or typed by them as well as signed and/ or stamped by them, the merit of this truth will bring to everyone wonderful blessings and wisdom! H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III
Elder dharma king H.E. Chogye Trichen Rinpoche was called “master of the masters” because most of the lineage holders in Tibetan Buddhism were his disciples. H.H. the Dalai Lama took the elder dharma king as his root master beginning in 1971. H.H. Dharma King Sakya Trizin, H.H. Dharma King Dudjom of the Nyingma sect, and H.H. Shamarpa of the Kagyu sect were also his disciples.
January 20, 2007 was the day when the great karmic undertaking of the elder dharma king to spread the dharma and benefit living beings in the earthly realm would come to an end. However, it was also the day when great karmic conditions matured relating to the final moments of his life. The elder dharma king ordered Shabdrung Rinpoche to write a congratulatory letter. In that letter he praised the book A Treasury of True Buddha-Dharma about H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III Wan Ko Yeshe Norbu, saying that the book is the guidepost leading to true Buddha-dharma and the gateway leading to benefiting and providing happiness to living beings. After that congratulatory letter was written, the rinpoche passed on to a Buddha-land right then and there. That was the final holy act of this elder dharma king of supreme enlightenment.
